The elementary school Slavinovici in Tuzla is a periphery school with 425 students aged from 6 to 15 years. The average class size is from 23-25 students. There are 8 classes for the students from first to fourth grade while there are 12 classes for the students from fifth to ninth grade. The school has numerous needs that are the result of the constant lack of means in the educational system of Bosnia and Herzegovina. For the educational purposes, the school momentarily uses old wooden boards so the procurement of the magnet boards is necessary in order to normalize the conditions for the educational process.

The lack of the means in the educational system causes the need for the schools in BH to get the school supplies through donations and projects for the local and foreign organizations, which, due to the economic crisis, also have budget cuts for these kind of activities. The elementary school Slavinovici formed a project team for the cooperation with the organizations that may be able to help in the school supplies procurement. They have made this project proposal in coordination with the Project Board RC Tuzla'99.

Guided by the idea that the students need a quality studying environment and taking into consideration the outdated educational means as well as the technical equipment of the classrooms, especially the boards which are over 30 years old and do not meet even the minimum standards for its usage, we have decided to take on this project. Our intention with this project is to enhance the conditions for the development of our educational environment. The plan encompasses redecoration of the classrooms and equipping them with the modern white magnet boards so that all students could have optimal and contemporary working conditions. Our contribution will relate to all the work in taking of and demounting the old boards and preparations for the new as well as mounting the new white magnet boards

RC Tuzla '99 sent this proposal to Rotary district 1910, Mr Joerg Nariz, in order to help getting in  touch with Rotary Clubs from Austria willing to help.  RC Perchtoldsdorf and RC Weiz will contribute sending the money for this project.

Project is in the final phase and will be successfully finished in about 20 days. This project shows a great cooperation between Austrian and Bosnian club as well as simplicity in realization the project.
